Loop Powered Indicators do not required separate
mains AC or DC power, but are powered by the DC
input signal loop, hence, known as 2-wire loop
powered indicators. Loop powered Indicators are
used in series with transmitter DC signals (4-20
mA) for local operator indication or in panel.
Lectrotek loop powered Indicators are available
in weather-proof & explosion-area approved
field-mounted enclosures as well as panel
mounted versions, in fixed range and
microprocessor-based programmable versions.
These employ low current consumption circuits
and drop a maximum of 1 to 1.5 V in the series
circuit.
