Power Series Transducers ELTRAN-Series


The ELTRAN-series Transducers from Lectrotek cover the entire electrical parameter range for common AC electrical measured variables. These are direct load connected for lower voltages (up to 500 V) and currents (up to 5 or 10A) or generally accept inputs from appropriate PTs & CTs.

AC Current Transducers

ELTRAN-CTI Current Transducers directly accepts inputs upto 5 or 10Amps or 1/5 A from CTs, and provide a proportional dc single/dual output in form of 0/4-20 mA/1-5V DC etc.

 

AC Voltage Transducers

ELTRAN-VTI Voltage Transducers accepts direct AC voltage  inputs upto 500V AC and provide proportional dc single or dual output. For higher voltages (e.g. : 11 KV, 6.6KV etc.) the transducers accepts input from external PTs (e.g. 11KV/110V AC). The Transducers can be calibrated full scale (by default) or as specified by user.

 

AC Frequency Transducers
 


ELTRAN-FTI Frequency Transducers are used to measure mains frequency in typical range of 45-555 Hz or 45-65 Hz versions and provide a 4-20 mA or other Dc signal output
 
 

AC Power Factor Transducers


ELTRAN-PTF Power factor transducers are used to measure the phase angle between voltage & current signals and are available in Single Phase & Three Phase for direct or CT/PT operated versions. PF ranges available between 0 lead to Unity to o lag or 0.5 Lead to Unity to 0.5 Lag or as specified.
 
 

AC Reactive Power (KW) Transducers


ELTRAN-PTW Active Power (KWH) Transducers measure the actual (active) power and come in Single Phase, 3-Phase 3-Wire &  4-Wire versions. Directly operated fort lads upto 5A and 440V, for higher loads appropriate CTs and PTs are used.

 

AC Reactive Power Transducers


ELTRAN-PTV Reactive Power Transducers measure the reactive power produced by inductive loads like motors etc. These are also direct or CT/PT operated and Single Phase as well as Three Phase versions for comparative specifications.

 

DC/DC Current/Voltage Transducers


ELTRAN-DTI DC/DC Transducers are suitable for DC Current or DC Voltage isolation and/or conversions to std dc signals.

For DC Current measurements, the transducer measures directly signals up to 5A DC. For higher currents (e.g. 1000A) for DC Traction Generators, external current shunts are used to provide voltage drop of 0-50 mV DC, 0-75 mV DC and the ELTRAN-DTI converts this to 0/4-20mA DC etc. standard signals.

For DC Voltage measurements, the transducer measures directly up to 500V DC higher voltages are measured through step-down voltage dividers.
