Temperature Transmitters
are required to convert passive low level signal
from temperature sensors (resistance from RTDs, millivolts from thermocouples into active and
standard 4-20mA DC signals proportional to
temperature, for transmitting over long distance, or
for converting into an industry standard signal or
where there is a likelihood of signal distortion or
corruption by electromagnetic (EMI/EMC)
interferences.
